Forget your future, forget your life

forget everything, this can not be helped

you have to move on, be one again

if you don't try at all, you'll be sadly alone

for all eternity, the world will change

but you'll stay the same

throughout your life, alone and sad

sitting at home alone in the bed

you'll wish you'd moved on, wanna go back

in time and prevent your life from going

wish you'd just died and never survived

but you know that's wrong so you stay alive

the pain seems surreal but you make it through

no matter what life throws at you,

I know you'll be ready to take the pain

and punishment and never give in

just so long as you dare to move on

forget about your future, just look back on the past

look at how this helps your life

what this will do for you, make it wonderful

you'll have a wonderful if you forget about the future

just think about the past and the present

but look back at the bad times in your life

and look at what you have now

you should be lucky for what you have

not everyone has a home like you do

a fireplace for warmth and a kitchen to cook

never to starve, you have a wonderful life

the pain is not for the worse, but for the better

I can promise you this is true

but you have to move on and see the reality 

it can't be bad, can only be true

true to the goodness of the heart inside

hidden beneath the skin but surely there

just try your best to move on

and see the better part of the choices made
